Third and last design of Essence of Speed Lalique collection for McLaren
Launched in 2018, Essence of Speed depicts three stylized creatures in clear crystal, each interpreted in two sizes. Symbols of speed, these collector’s pieces in limited editions have been released over a three-year period. After the Cheetah and the Falcon, the third design is a stunning Sailfish.

March 22nd 2019, Hong Kong: A new world record for the most expensive Port wine sold at auction was set today with the sale of the second (of five) generation Niepoort in Lalique 1863 decanter, which sold for HK$ 1,054,000 (approx. EUR 119,000 / US$ 134,000) with all net proceeds of the sale going to the charity, The Nature Conservancy (TNC).

Saturday 3rd November, Hong Kong: A GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Most expensive Port wine sold at auction was set today with the sale of the first Niepoort in Lalique 1863 decanter. Filled with the exceptionally rare 155-year-old vintage Port created in 1863 by the first Niepoort generation, Franciscus Marius van der Niepoort and contained within a meticulously crafted Lalique crystal demijohn decanter, it sold for HK$ 992,000 (approx. US$127,000) at Acker Merrall & Condit, Hong Kong.

A Lalique creation for Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey
This bottle is based on one of the artist’s iconic designs and bearing the Lalique emblem. The « Femme et Raisins » has now been given a new lease of life in an exquisite collaboration with Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, starting with the 2013 Sauternes vintage 1er Grand Cru Classé.
